RESTAURANT

The gentle art of gastronomy is a friendly one. It hurdles the language barrier, makes friends among civilized people, and warms the heart.

As Samuel Chamberlain said,

And that is how our head chef, with his years of experience and fine palate, runs his kitchen; through food made with love, warming even the weariest of travellers.

With breakfast being the most important meal of the day, we kick-start your morning by offering a healthy continental breakfast buffet which includes a choice of cereals, yoghurt, fruit, toasted bread and cold meats.

If our continental breakfast doesn’t work up an appetite, why not try our traditional English breakfast which includes your choice of eggs (fried or scrambled), viennas, bacon, a fried tomato and either baked beans, chicken livers or mince.

Our freshly squeezed seasonal orange juice, sourced from the renowned local Zebediela citrus farm, is a must have. Our lunch or dinner menus are available on request and the chef is happy to cater for any special dietary requirements.

Patong Guest Lodge’s food has the taste and flavour of South African cuisine presented with flair, passion and love. From a hearty meal for two, a business lunch or conference, to a celebration banquet or wedding, our chef is sure to deliver. And if your timing is right, you might be lucky enough to sample chef’s signature dish; a delectably rich, mutton curry accompanied by fresh, seasonal vegetables and fragrant rice.

Situated in Lebowakgomo and being the only venue offering such a lavish setting, we have opened up our bar to those weary of the old watering hole in town. If you would like a change in scenery or simply want to treat your family to a short outing, come visit our friendly family pub.
